In 2012, Jake founded and grew an innovation agency (ONEFIRE) from 2 to 35 employees and $3M in revenue within 4 years; focusing on operations, sales, strategy and culture.
His work with various Fortune 100 companies includes the creation, management and leadership of various enterprise content standards and processes, participation in multiple enterprise innovation initiatives related to disruptive technology, and R&D projects involving augmented, virtual and mixed reality.
As the co-founder of Startup Peoria and a founding member of the Startup Champions Network (formerly Startup America), a nationwide non-profit dedicated to supporting innovation ecosystem builders and the entrepreneurs they serve, Jake has built an extensive global network of connections that have brought Peoria into the national spotlight.
Most recently, Jake founded and now serves as the Executive Director of the Peoria Innovation Alliance; a local non-profit that is fostering a collaborative movement to reposition the region and change our narrative to one of positivity and progress through the support and celebration of innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup activity.
