Shaun Newell is the News Director and WMBD/WYZZ in Peoria. He has led the team there for the past three years. Shaun has an extensive background in local news, including management roles at WMBD radio and WEEK/WHOI-TV. He also served as the Marketing and Communication Director at the Center for Prevention of Abuse. Shaun is a 2002 graduate of Western Illinois University and a 2013 graduate of Bradley University’s MBA program.
