PEORIA, IL- January 24, 2018– On January 19, 2018, the Sculpture Walk Peoria call for entries closed with a final count of 114 entries from 61 different artists which came from 24 states. Thanks to the generous support of local individuals and organizations, Sculpture Walk Peoria will return to Washington Street in May of 2018. The following distinguished arts, business, and community leaders will select the winning sculptures for the 2018 outdoor exhibition:

Elizabeth Jensen – Peoria City Council Member; Program Director of Public Interest Law Initiative

Natalie Jackson-O’Neal – Artist and Photographer; Serves on the Contemporary Art Center Board of Directors

Dr. Sheila Quirk-Bailey – President, Illinois Central College

Ryan (Rashad) Reed –  Artist; Arts Educator; Owner and Operator of Creativity Uncorked

Jaci Willis – Sculptor; Adjunct Professor 2D/3D design at Bradley University

Fisher Stolz –Sculptor; Professor of Art and Sculpture Area Head at Bradley University

Kip Strasma – Arts Advocate, Former Dean of Arts and Sciences at Methodist College

This jury represents a broad range of diverse skills and talents. All individuals have been enthusiastic about becoming part of the 2018 Sculpture Walk Peoria jury, having expressed a personal interest and passion for public art and sculpture.
