Join us for this behind-the-scenes tour which includes the stories and the history of the local treasure, Tanners Family Orchard. A Tanner representative will give you a private guided tour, starting with a hayrack ride to the apple orchard to pick apples and to learn the history of Tanners and the varieties of apples grown. Afterwards, you will head to the packing shed to learn how to process the merchandise coming in and being prepared for market. You will also see how Tanners famous apple cider is made, with sample tastings. You’ll also tour the back of the bakery to watch the apple cider donuts being made, with sample tastings. Finally, you’re free to wander the grounds to shop and enjoy.
