At the heart of the story is Princess Aurora, blessed by good fairies at her christening, but cursed by the wicked fairy Carabosse to prick her finger on her sixteenth birthday and fall into a deep, enchanted sleep. As the spell unfolds, time stands still, and an entire kingdom slumbers for a hundred years. Only the courage and love of a noble prince can awaken Aurora and restore harmony to the realm.
