Flash Tattoo Fundraiser
May 3rd at 11am marks the start of a Flash Tattoo fundraiser to raise money for My Writing Shed! This flash event will take place at In Bloom Tattoo Collective in Downtown Peoria. There is a parking deck nearby and street parking available (FREE on weekends!)
If you enjoy writing of any genre, whether that be creative writing, journaling, research work, etc., we HIGHLY recommend visiting My Writing Shed.
Located in a fabulous space proudly attached to Lit. on Fire Books in the West Main District, “My Writing Shed” is a nonprofit organization. It is created by writers, for writers, offering space in Peoria to create and connect! Enjoy complimentary snacks, a cozy place to work, and meet other local authors. Check out mywritingshed.org for more information. Third spaces are so important to our local community, let’s all show up to support!
Tattooing for this event will be done by Ary Westward at In Bloom Tattoo Collective.
Flash event rules:
✨ Walk-ins only (signup sheet available)
✨ Arm and leg placements only
✨ No Giftcards or coupons permitted
✨ No design adjustments (unless you schedule for a different day)
✨ Handmade beanies made by Layne Steward are available for sale
30% of all proceeds are donated directly to My Writing Shed
