Bart Vargas: Mandalas Exhibit at the CAC
Like artifacts from an era of extraordinary consumption and waste, Bellevue, Nebraska artist and educator Bart Vargas’ sculpture and paintings incorporate recovered local materials deemed unwanted or useless, including trash, recyclables and surplus items and then transform them into playful, approachable and thought-provoking objects.
Vargas leads a Mandala Workshop – Saturday, August 8th, 1-3:00pm
Open Tues-Sat from July 3rd to August 8th.
