Art can serve as a powerful tool for emotional healing and recovery. The “Are You Really Winning?” Problem Gambling Awareness Art Competition invites Illinois residents to create artwork that shines light on the journey from darkness to hope for those struggling with a gambling addiction. Entries will be judged on how the artwork captures the journey from darkness and despair to hope and recovery. A professional jury will review all submissions, and selected artwork will be unveiled at the Illinois Council on Problem Gambling conference in Spring 2026 and will be featured in several public exhibits throughout the state.

General Notes for All Submissions
• Awards for selected adult artists include stipends of $2,000, $1,000, and $500
• In the student category, five $100 Visa gift cards will be awarded
• Entry is FREE
• Must be an Illinois resident
• All types of artwork are welcome
• The submission deadline is March 31st, 2026 at midnight CST.
