NEW ARTSDOLLAR$ GRANT PROGRAM ANNOUNCED

PEORIA, IL – ArtsPartners of Central Illinois is pleased to announce a new grant program for Central Illinois organizations and residents called ArtsDollar$. The program is made possible by the Illinois Arts Council Agency’s Community Arts Access grant program.

This year, ArtsPartners will be granting $11,500 to organizations and artists residing in Central Illinois. The goal of ArtsDollar$ is to support programs and artists that enrich the quality of life in the Greater Peoria region (Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford counties) through the arts. It is our mission to make art accessible for all. All art forms and mediums are eligible.

Regarding ArtsDollar$, ArtsPartners Executive Director Dr. Mae Gilliland Wright stated:

“The arts are an essential economic driver in Greater Peoria. ArtsDollar$ recognizes the importance and power of our arts and culture sector by providing much-needed funding to uplift and celebrate local arts organizations, individual artists, and K-12 educational institutions. We can’t wait to see this program continue to grow!”

In agreement, ArtsPartners Board President Frannie Heine remarked:

“We are thrilled to be selected as a regranting organization through the Illinois Arts Council Agency, bringing new dollars to Central Illinois. This mission-driven program will bring new value to the region’s arts and cultural organizations as well as individual artists. We look forward to continuing to support and drive economic impact through the arts in Central Illinois.”
