2026 Morton Library Galleries

Morton Public Library is now accepting exhibit proposals for our 2026 gallery season. We invite individuals, groups, and organizations to display engaging, all-ages-appropriate artwork in our Reuling Room gallery, a highly visible space that hosts frequent library and community events.

Why Exhibit With Us
  • Broad Audience: Open during all library hours, ensuring steady public visibility.
  • Strong Promotion: Exhibits are featured on our digital sign, website, social media, and in the Morton Courier.
Eligibility
  • Open to emerging and experienced artists in the Peoria area.
  • Exhibits should feature a cohesive body of 20–40 works.
  • Most 2D mediums are accepted; all pieces must be original and professionally display-ready. (3D work cannot be accommodated.)
  • Artists handle their own installation and take-down.
  • Artwork must be available for a full eight-week exhibit period.
2026 Exhibit Periods
Artists must be able to meet with staff and deliver/pick up artwork in person for one of the following two-month periods:
  • January–February
  • March–April
  • May–June
  • July–August
  • September–October
  • November–December

I’m Jose! I am a Senior at Bradley University with a Game Design Major and Film Studies Minor. So obviously, I love video games and movies, but really I love all forms of media and creative art! Outside of that I love listening to music, spending time with my family and friends, my baby brother, and my girlfriend!
