Peoria, IL – The Peoria Art Guild is excited to announce the Call for Entry for the 63rd Annual Fine Art Fair, taking place September 27-28, 2025, along the stunning Peoria riverfront. As one of the longest-running and most celebrated art fairs in the Midwest, the Fine Art Fair attracts artists and attendees from across the nation, creating a significant cultural and economic impact on the region.
In 2024, the Fine Art Fair drew more than 8,000 attendees, generating an estimated $535,00 economic impact for the local community. From art sales to tourism spending on accommodations, dining, and shopping, the event continues to be a major driver of economic vitality in Peoria while spotlighting world-class artistic talent.
“The Fine Art Fair exemplifies the power of art to bring people together and invigorate a community,” said Shannon Cox, Executive Director of the Peoria Art Guild. “We look forward to welcoming another incredible group of artists to showcase their work and contribute to the cultural and economic vibrancy of our city.”

The Peoria Art Guild invites artists working in diverse mediums—painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, jewelry, fiber art, glass, mixed media, and digital art—to apply to this juried event.

Asking artists to meditate and create around the theme of ‘Jesus: Prophet, Priest, and King.’ Submissions in any medium are welcome. We hope your work will inspire reflection and contribute to this meaningful time of spiritual growth. The Foster Gallery reserves the right to refuse any artwork that contradicts the mission of the Peoria First United Methodist Church.

ELIGIBILITY
• Christian Artists 18 years and older.
• Each artist may enter up to three pieces of original artwork.
• Reproduction prints will not be accepted except in the case of photography.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
1. Framed two-dimensional artwork cannot be wider than 3 feet (36 inches) or taller than 5 feet (60 inches) per entry.
2. Two-dimensional works must be ready for hanging. An identification label (Artist Name, Title, Medium, Price/Value) must be attached to the back (top, left).
3. Deliver all works at 116 NE Perry Avenue. A timely collection of artwork following the exhibition is greatly appreciated. All unclaimed work will become the property of First United Methodist Church.

The Law of HUEY is a Chicago native hailing from Chicago’s west side. He is a proud father, mentor, emcee and one of the co-founders of the music collective, HUEY Gang. HUEY is an acronym that stands for Headstrong Urban Educated Youth. He is currently working on a project called How Much 4 Therapy, addressing his struggles with mental health and therapy as a black man in America.

The Bradley Symphony Orchestra will present the three winners of the
university’s annual Concerto/Aria Competition in concert on Sunday, February 23 at
3:00pm at the Dingeldine Music Center on the campus of Bradley University. This
year’s winners are Mark Grigoletti, flute, Amanda Carlson, flute and Grant Heinberg,
trombone. Mr. Grigolletti will perform the first movement of Mozart’s Flute Concerto in G
Major, Ms. Carlson the first movement of Franz Doppler’s Fantasie Pastoral Hongroise
and Mr. Heinberg the Trombone Concerto of Launy Grøndahl. The program will also
include the premiere of Everest, a composition for orchestra by Bradley senior music
student Mackenzie Davis. The remainder of the program will feature Franz Schubert’s
Symphony No. 8 (“Unfinished”). The BSO will be under the direction of music director
Dr. Timothy Semanik.
Tickets are $10 (students are free) and are available at the door. For more

While this Rock Island artist and educator employs centuries’ old techniques, her innovative use of fresh materials, organic structures and maps as design sources delights fans of weaving. Her influences include fiber work of Latin America and Africa and color field painters like Mark Rothko and Barnett Newman to inspire blending subtle transitions, despite surfaces built row by row on a 56” four-harness floor loom.
