Peoria Players and the Broadway Lounge are teaming up to bring audiences a one-night only event! Join us for Flo-ing Through the Decades, The Broadway Musical Revue on Friday evening, April 30. Miss Flo will take the audience on a journey through the decades, as she and her friends sing songs from every decade from the 1950s to the 2020s. Love stories, girl fights, stories from the buffet line — you name it there will be a song.
“I have gathered some of Peoria’s favorite voices to help tell the story of my life through songs,” says Miss Flo. “Flo-ing Through the Decades will make you laugh and cry. Okay, let’s be honest it will make you laugh.”
The show includes the talents of Mariah Aberle, Katie Ailshie, Bryan Blanks, Billy Blue, Stephanie Bright, Rusty Brost, Lily Carmack, Todd Michael Cook, Barb Couri, Valerie Kelley, Erin Kelly, Deric Kimler, Katie McLuckie, Erica O’Neill, Chase Sieting, Adam Sitton, and of course the illustrious Emcee, Miss Flo NoMo’.
Come early and enjoy a delicious dinner at the Broadway Lounge. Toby Howell of the Broadway Lounge is looking forward to this event. “We’re thrilled to be back open and offering a non-traditional performing space for the benefit of Peoria Players. We love having an ongoing relationship that encourages our similar fondness for the arts.”
Miss Flo agrees, “I am so happy to be working with The Broadway Lounge and Peoria Players to bring you the story of Miss Flo through Broadway musical selections spanning many decades. Also we have food and drinks so you will leave happy no matter if you like the story or not.”
The Broadway Lounge is located at 316 SW Washington St. in the MAXAM Building. The cost for the show is $21 per person (includes online processing fee), and show reservations may be purchased at peoriaplayers.org
Doors to the Broadway Lounge will open at 6:00 pm for dinner and drink purchases (2 item minimum required; one must be a food item), and the show will begin at 7:30 pm.
