You won’t want to miss one of the most popular Disney musicals of all time, Mary Poppins, which will be performed at Corn Stock Theatre from August 26 to September 3 at 7:30pm. Tickets are $22 for adults and $17 for students (18 and under.)

Director Chip Joyce has assembled a cast of 60 talented adults and children for this beloved musical. Kelsey Crotz as Mary Poppins and Clay Frankel as Bert will be performing under the tent every evening. Other notable cast members include Nora Ward and Nathan Pulley as the troublemaking Banks siblings, Jane and Michael, Andrew Harrison and Brittany Smile as their parents, George and Winnifred Banks, as well as Celeste Matheson, Payton Drake, Laura Weaver Hughes, Nicole Simkins, and an ensemble of talented supporting characters, dancers, and singers, with Music Direction by Shawn Degenhart and Choreography by Jennifer Morris & Sydney Abdnour.

Mary Poppins the musical is based on the books by P.L. Travers and the classic Walt Disney film. Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins delighted Broadway audiences for over 2,500 performances and received nominations for nine Olivier and seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren’t the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that “Anything can happen if you let it.”

Mary Poppins is an enchanting mixture of irresistible story, unforgettable songs, breathtaking dance numbers and brilliantly talented actors.

Patrons are encouraged to come early and have dinner with the food vendor of the production, Avanti’s Ristorante (cash only). A menu of available items can be found on the Corn Stock website. Young’s Popcorn Heaven will also be on site with popcorn available to purchase before the show and during intermission as well as drinks from The Broadway Deli & Lounge and snow cones from Tropical Sno.
