In Woodcarving III, we switch gears and focus on carving anatomy in the form of Wood Spirit Walking Sticks. Each student will complete and take home a hand carved wood spirit walking stick. Wood Spirits are steeped in lore and have been a favorite subject or woodcarvers for hundreds of years. Lots of fun, but it’s also the beginning of learning to carve the human face.
