“Where It Takes Me” Works by Joel Metzler On display September 4-24, 2026 I have been creating artwork for over 20 years. Although my career is in emergency veterinary medicine, I enjoy creating pieces of art that I can share with others. My process is to collect images that I find intriguing and develop a story to paint. I primarily use acrylic on a variety of mediums, but also use charcoal, graphite, and oil paint. My inspiration is with contrasts and finding beauty in obscure places.
