Kumihimo is an ancient weaving art from Japan used on samurai armor as little braids that laced the sections of armor together. Kumihimo is the Japanese term for combining cords to make a braid. This class is perfect for those who have a little bit of experience doing Kumihimo previously. The fee includes instruction, all materials, refreshments, and additional gallery instruction time the next week if you don’t finish your piece during class time. Various color options are available. Instructor Jane Sieck is multi-talented artist who also creates fused glass art.
