GlobalFest brings together and celebrates people of different cultural backgrounds who work and live in Central Illinois. This culturally immersive experience celebrates the ethnic diversity and inclusion in our region. GlobalFest may not be the first multicultural event in Peoria, but it promises to be the largest event of its kind, inviting community members to experience global music, dance, displays, costumes, languages, and international foods found in Peoria.
The public will learn more about the cultural groups who study, work, and live in Central Illinois, appreciate the diversity of our region, while having fun and learning about other cultures. Bringing cultural groups together under one roof for a day helps the public appreciate their uniqueness, similarities, and shared past.
Global Fest will open its doors to the public on Saturday, February 11 at 4:00 pm at Five Points Washington. Tickets can be found on the Global Fest Facebook page.
