Storm King Art Center is a 500-acre outdoor museum located in New York’s Hudson Valley, where visitors experience large-scale sculpture and site-specific commissions under open sky. Since 1960, Storm King has been dedicated to stewarding the hills, meadows, and forests of its site and surrounding landscape. Storm King’s Associate Director of Education and Public Programs, Ellen Grenley, speaks about how the Art Center nurtures a vibrant bond between art, nature, and people, and aims to be a place of limitless discovery.

Grenley is a museum educator with nearly 15 years of experience working in modern and contemporary art museums. She is committed to providing equitable access to and engagement with the arts for all audiences and communities. Previously she worked as an educator at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. She holds an M.Ed. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and B.A. from Bowdoin College.
