Do you love to talk about your favorite artists, a period or movement in art, or maybe you love to present on your own artwork? We’re looking for you to join us and present at Art Club! We’d love to grow our program and change it to engage the community of artists right here in Central Illinois.
Art Club is for people that love art. We meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 1 pm and is a wonderful tradition from Lakeview Museum, down to the bring your own coffee cup! Each month, we look at a different topic, and enjoy a casual discussion led by a presenter (with PowerPoint slides) accompanied by coffee and treats. Participants are encouraged, though not required, to submit discussion suggestions of art that is related to the topic. It’s like a book club, but without as much homework!
