The evening will kick off with Arc Light’s rebranded Improv comedy troupe before presenting two one-act plays after a dessert intermission: “Just in Time,” directed by Joe Roderick and written by Joe Roderick, Ben Banach, and Clark Strohecker, tells the story of a time traveler who finds himself stuck in the 1800s while trying to get himself back to modern times. “The Actor’s Nightmare” by Christopher Durang and directed by Tara Williams features a confused lead actor who is told he must immediately take over the lead role in a show that no one can seem to identify – from one missed cue to another flubbed line, the actors must try to pull together a performance in this comedic adventure.
